RCRC Officers In Washington DC

This week, the RCRC Officers joined Supervisors and Commissioners from around the country to advocate for continued funding for the Federal Payments in Lieu of Taxes (PILT) program, during the National Association of Counties PILT Fly-in event. While in Washington D.C., RCRC Officers also met with several members of Congress to discuss other issues of importance to California’s rural counties, including the farm bill; Secure Rural Schools (SRS) funding; rural hospitals; the home insurance crisis; and more.
