THIS IS A SUMMARY OF SUBMISSION CRITERIA FOR RCRC's EIGHTH ANNUAL RURAL COUNTY PHOTO CONTEST. SEE THE OFFICIAL RULES FOR COMPLETE DETAILS.
Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 30th, 2024

By entering, you indicate your unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, the Official Rules and RCRC's decisions, which are final and binding. By submitting a photo, you also give RCRC the right to use the photo in any publication, social media platform, or website, without payment or other consideration.
Limit: Three (3) photographs per participant. You may not use an agency or automated system to enter.
Format: Digital High Resolution (no less than 300 dpi) and as a file type of .jpeg, .jpg, or .png
Size: 10 MB or less
Include the following information along with the photograph(s):
- California County where the photograph was taken
- Photographer's full name and email address
Submitted photographs:
- Must be an original work by the participant.
- Must be taken in one of the 40 RCRC member counties.
- Must not contain text, watermark, or logo.
- Must not be entered into any other Contest. If the photograph was previously produced for compensation or sold, you must include a brief explanation of the circumstances of the compensation or sale with your photo submission.
- May not contain material that is violent, inappropriate, sexually explicit, depicts nudity, or is indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, or libelous, as determined by RCRC in its sole discretion.
- Must include a signed release from any recognizable person in the photograph and/or from the owner of any intellectual property (other than the entrant) contained in the photograph. See Official Rules for more details.
