On August 13, 2024, the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced the ninth round of funding to enhance safety and efficiency at airports across America. This round of funding included 296 grants across 47 states. Seven projects in RCRC counties were selected for over $5 million in funding in total.
