Each year, RCRC’s Annual Rural County Photo Contest invites photographers of all skill levels to capture and share the beauty, character, and diversity of California’s rural counties. Through stunning images, participants help tell the story of the vibrant communities, breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and enduring spirit that make RCRC’s member counties unique.

For the past 10 years, the contest has celebrated the distinctive essence of rural California, showcasing photographs that highlight everything from peaceful waterways and remarkable wildlife to thriving agricultural landscapes and historic landmarks and architecture.
