Earlier this week, the U.S. Senate confirmed 71-28 the nomination of Neil Kornze to be the Director of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Kornze was previously Principal Deputy Director at the BLM, overseeing the bureau’s conservation, outdoor recreation and energy development programs.
